I'm Glad it Friday

This has been a rough week, workwise.  The computer has glitched with new wrinkles almost every day this week.  So frustrating.  We looked like we were going to be sending SLC a remarkable weeks work but the computer would not download this afternoons files.  We will send them next week and make it look like a wonderful amount of work for 3 days.  Oh well, the work is getting done - just slower than Clyde and  I want it.

We have Wednesday through Friday and then Easter Monday off from work.  Easter is actually a bigger holiday than Christmas, here.  We would probably go into work anyway but the alarms will be set - so there is no working at all.  We think on Thursday we will go and see the 'The Big Blue Planet' - the aquarium here.  We will also go and take a peek at the Thorvaldsen museum.  We have a list of other museums we will see while we are here.  One is the museum of Danish Designs.

We went shopping for some of our groceries this afternoon.  Clyde ran into one of the stores to get my favorite trail mix and some hoisin sauce.  He literally scoured the store trying to find the hoisin sauce (We just bought some there in December).  There was none to be found.  He was gone over 15 minutes.  I was starting to worry, but he was trying diligently to do what I asked.  Such a sweet man.

Jeppe has next week off and then he will come in part of the next week and then take his wife and children to Paris for several days.  They are looking forward to some time together, looking at cultural sights.  Jeppe also did Clyde a huge favor today.  We don't have a printer or a way to fax or scan things.  Jeppe took Clyde's pension documents and made sure that it was all sent properly.  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful friend.

The archives have decided that they like the idea of the indexes being digitized after all.  The books are so worn and fragile that to have this information on the internet while the other documents are being indexed is going to help them immensely.  We had a wonderful visit with Helge again today.  Such a special woman.

We get to have a quiet weekend.  Looking forward to it.
