Happy Birthday, Nathanael

I don't know why the only picture I could find was one of Nathanael being helpful.  This shouldn't be surprising.

Today is my second grandson and third grandchild's birthday.  Nathanael Pfiester is 10 years old today.  He was born as I was flying down to Texas.  He couldn't even wait for my arrival.  My Aunt Norma had to pick me up at the airport because everyone was tied up at the hospital.  That was wonderful in its own way because Aunt Norma and I have a wonderful relationship.  Norma and her granddaughter, Abbey and I drove to Kerrville the next day.  Abbey thought the Pfiester home was the most beautiful home she had ever seen.

Nathanael has grown up to be an intelligent, compassionate young man.  He loves learning, math and the arts.  He is extremely concerned about others well being and wants to do what is right.  He, like my other grandsons is an amazing son of God.

We love you Nathanael.  Have a Happy Birthday and wonderful year.  We will see you soon!  Lots of love - Grandma and Grandpa Bailey

P.S. Your card is in the mail.  I let time get away from me so it didn't get mailed until today.

Knitting Hats

For about a month, I have been knitting.  My first project was a toddlers hat.  I decided to do one for Mallory for her trips to Utah.  Then kind of as a joke because of comment Pam made on a blog, I decided to knit her a 'mommy hat'.  Hers is variegated reds, burgundy and dark pink.  I actually sold some of the yarn because it worked up so pretty.  So here are my first two completed projects.
 Mallory's hat and...
Pam's hat.  It isn't this flamingo colored.  I am thinking of making me one out of same colored yarn.  I am working on an orange hat for Dutch and pink and white one for Evie, now.  More pictures to come.
