Another Scratch!

This  morning as we were setting up, Clyde cleaned the glass and noticed a scratch in the lower part of the glass.  It was hardly noticeable so we continued taking pictures.  As we set up the second book, we saw a scratch clear across the top - about 6 inches long.  The warmer the glass got, the more pronounced the scratch was.  We came home at noon and ordered another piece of glass.  We cannot afford $60 every 10 days for one thing.  We don't understand where it came from.  We have been extremely careful  Somehow some grit got caught on the cleaning cloth and scratched it.  It is the only thing we can think of.  I would think there is a way to polish it out - but guess not since no one has offered that option.  The glazier said he will try and get it delivered tomorrow but it could be Monday or Tuesday of next week.  Why do these things keep happening to us?!

We took the Danish Immigration test to give to one of our officemates whose wife is from Chile.  He was delighted that we would do that for him.  As we were leaving, he was sharing it with someone else whose wife needed it.

It is snowing and cold.  I really could hibernate all winter without a problem.

Very few in Denmark use blinds or curtains.  I have gotten very good at not looking in the windows in the morning on the train.  I have seen too much already.
