Old Aarhus

On Saturday morning we went into Gammel Aarhus to look around. I saw these old buildings built in the late 1400's and early 15'00s.  I knew my great-grandmother Caroline Sorenson Buchanan had lived here as a girl.  It was fun to stand here and know she had been there too.

Nothing was square on this building.  It is such an amazing sight.

This is a cathedral that was started in 1497 and finished the end of the 1500's. 

I am still fighting a stomach bug.  I will be so glad when I feel better again.
