We went and got our last pass for the bus today. We just went ahead and extended it the 2 weeks until our departure date. Amazing because the time really has flown.
Vanessa Venn came in to work today and were we tickled to see her. She was an intern when we started and we have remained close. She was there to attend an archivist user's conference. I met Anne from Thisted (where all of my mother's Nielsen relatives came from). She is going to contact Family Search and see if missionaries can come there to digitize. She said that they have a lot of documents written by Mormons in the archive. I explained that Danish was the first language that the Book of Mormon was translated in and almost all long time members of the Church have some Danish blood in them. Both she and Vanessa were impressed and excited about that.
We got 8 books done today. It was good day but tomorrow we got into that gargantuan books again. Not looking forward to that.
