Carianne's First Christmas

This is me on Christmas Morning 1977.  We were at Mom and Dad Brugger's house.  My mother always liked all of the opened gifts put under the Christmas tree so that when people came by, they could see what we had received.  That is what I am doing - arranging the gifts under the tree.  This is the year Carianne was born and though she isn't in the picture, she would have been a little over 2 months old.

I should add that it was just Clyde and me with Carianne that year at my parents. Marianne and my brother Bob were serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that Christmas. Marianne was in Vancouver, Canada and Bob was in Melbourne, Australia.
