There is a busy hum around the office now. Everyone is back from vacation and life is starting to get back to normal. I like having everyone where they should be.
On our way out this afternoon, a car pulled up and Kristian, (the head of cultural affairs for the city of Copenhagen, got out and greeted us. Right behind him was the mayor of Copenhagen. We met him several months ago. He too stopped and asked us how we were doing and how the work was coming. There were 2 other men and then one reached out his hand to shake ours. I looked up and it was the city councilman that had come with the mayor. He visited with us the longest of anyone. I was startled they remembered us.
This morning, once again our bus took a different route. He did not ask for help, he just went around the wrong side of the train station. I don't know if this is a new route for the bus or a mistake. It got us where we needed to be but we didn't dare wander around after work, trying to find the bus. We took the sure thing and came home on the train.
