Wicked

As a treat, Clyde's mother paid for tickets to Wicked. We were able to go with her and her brother Johnny and his wife Carol. We had a wonderful time.

I have read the book. I read it about 6 years ago and enjoyed it. I have been listening to the music about as long. I have to say that the musical was almost as I envisioned it. There were a few surprises but not too many and the surprises were all good. It was a fun evening.

Musical = Fantastic
Book = AWFUL it was so offensive to me I couldn't finish it. I liked the musical much better. Glad you had fun. What did Dad think?

Dad loved it. I read the book for book group and borrowed the book. The woman I borrowed it from had censored it for her children. I really only read that version. I have no desire to read any other.

Grandma Swearingen loved it too but Uncle Johnny had to finally take his hearing aids out because the loud music was playing havoc with them. After that he couldn't understand any of the dialogue but the music was pleasant for him. He enjoed it more.
