Fifteen years ago next month will be the anniversary of my sister, Marianne, asking me to come over to watch the most amazing mini-series she has ever seen. Over those two days the Dittmar girls and the Bailey girls fell in love with "Pride and Prejudice", Jane Austen and Colin Firth. What I can't believe is that it has been 15 years. Wow! I have to admit it is still my all time favorite version of "Pride and Prejudice."

I love it, too. But I also love the Keira Knightley version. The cinematography is breathtaking and it's shorter, so it can be watched in one evening. I actually sorta got Mitchell hooked on Pride and Prejudice. We watched both versions within a week or so of each other and compared what we liked best about each one.
